Adult Education and Confirmation
Confirmation and Enquirers Classes
Confirmation and enquirers classes are available prior to visit by Diocesan Bishops. Because of St Paul’s relationship with Trinity Episcopal Church in Ossining, classes include students from both congregations. This enriches discussion and exploration of all things Episcopal. Confirmation may physically take place at either church, depending on visitation schedules.
Bible Study and spiritual exploration is held in seasonal units. Frequently thought provoking books are discussed to gain a deeper understanding of scripture and our lives as Christians. Meetings times are usually 8:30 am Sunday mornings. Please check with the Parish Office for current schedule.
Book Groups allow individuals to explore history, traditions and faith in an open, welcoming setting. Groups meet either in the Family Room near the Parish Hall kitchen or in parishioner’s home. No question is too small or too great to explore!
Education for Ministry (EFM)
Several parishioners have deepened their faith, and the congregation, through participation in Education for Ministry. Graduates of these programs are open to sharing their experiences with interested people.
Individuals interested in exploring their personal callings as Christian leaders may find Cursillo an enriching program. The primary retreat location is at Mariandale Retreat House in Ossining. Several St. Paul’s parishioners have found their personal mission through Cursillo.
