St. Paul’s is welcoming, tolerant and friendly community for individuals and families who seek a spiritual home. We would love to meet you! Come visit and see what St. Paul’s is like. Just drop by on Sunday, or fill out the short form below, and one of our leaders will reach out to you.
For more than 175 years St. Paul’s Episcopal Church has served the greater Ossining community. We offer a place to celebrate, contemplate and examine our lives as Christians among friends. At its heart, St. Paul’s is community of people from various walks of life who care for each other and try to help our neighbors.
St. Paul’s is a member of the world-wide Anglican Communion, a community of Christians bound together by our belief that Holy Scripture contains the core of Christian faith and thought, and we are also a sacramental church that regularly celebrates the Eucharist at our Sunday services. We do not obey a central authority—instead we debate doctrine among ourselves and often agree to differ on it.
St. Paul’s Sunday morning services begin at 9:30 a.m. Ours is a casual, but traditional service with sing-able music, and we love children. Every Sunday we gather after the service to enjoy conversation and coffee in our parish hall.
We share our priest with Trinity Episcopal Church in downtown Ossining, so our priest is generally present every other Sunday. When she is not present, another priest presides, or we have Morning Prayer conducted by lay leaders. The Morning Prayer service is usually on the third Sunday of the month. On months with a fifth Sunday, St. Paul’s and Trinity congregations share a service at either St. Paul’s or Trinity. Because service schedules and locations may vary, please check our Calendar for upcoming services or Contact Us.
St. Paul’s offers Sunday school for children from 4-12 on the 1st, 2nd and 4th Sundays each of month beginning on Welcoming Sunday in September through mid-June. Children meet in the Parish Hall during the 9:30 service.
