Supporting and caring for our beautiful grounds and buildings is a labor of love for many parishioners. Grounds keeping work days are scheduled in the Spring and Fall during which friendships bloom between young and old. A common site is a 10 year old child weeding around the outdoor Baptismal Fount alongside a middle-aged “empty-nester” while youth and retirees prune trees and hedges.
Throughout the year maintenance and improvement projects are undertaken by a combination of professionals and volunteers. The ministry of serving St. Paul’s by helping the Buildings and Grounds committee is tremendously satisfying and fun!
Our beautiful groups are open to the community from 7 a.m. until dusk. We offer an oasis to our young and old and four-legged friends.
